California surfer/film-maker Cyrus Sutton is heading back to Australia to premiere his new hit movie, Stoked & Broke, at the Noosa Festival of Surfing. The premiere will be part of Logger Rhythm, a night of entertainment for the subculture, presented by Rhythm, and featuring the brand’s unique blend of surf-oriented music, art and style.
The night will kick off with the cool DJ sounds of Bump Nights, while punters wrap their heads around the Rhythm crew’s art exhibition and an amazing collection of photos by Dane Peterson.
If you haven’t caught up with S & B, Cyrus and buddy Ryan Burch pull their bamboo rickshaws from one end of San Diego County to the other on a zero budget “stay-cation”. Why? To prove that you don’t need to have money to feel the stoke, and that you can find killer surf in your own backyard if you’re inventive. It’s funny, heart warming, and full of incredible surfing as Ryan and Cy attack the SD coast on logs, fish, alaias, fridge doors, you name it.
